Marie Lois Kozara McKessy Croft Willis, born May 11, 1939 in New York, passed away on August 26, 2016, while in hospice care. She was 77 years old.

Marie was the oldest daughter of Stanley and Edna Kozara, and sister to Betty and Peter (predeceased). Marie is survived by her children, Dennis McKessy (Rachel), Jack McKessy (Ann), and Mimi Mantell (George), Frannie Astler (Vernon) and Peggy Ocenasek (Danny), grandchildren (Scott, Jennifer Lynn, Tommy, Alexandra, Nicole, Kevin, Christopher), and 7 great-grandchildren (David Scott, Brooke, Will, Lane, Mackenzie, Taylor, Caitlin). Marie is predeceased by adopted daughter Yolanda Beesley.

She and her loving husband Tom Croft (predeceased) helped launch the successful careers of many Fire Rescue and EMS personnel, throughout Palm Beach County, as the owners of AA Ambulance Service.

Marie remarried another wonderful man, Idus Willis, and moved to Orlando. While there she helped Idus run National Ambulance Builders. Marie and Idus also opened Cedar Key Marina, Marina Motel and Restaurant in Cedar Key. Upon retirement, both moved to Palm Beach County to be close to her family. Marie was a bright and vibrant woman, with a kind and generous heart, who will be missed.

Friends will be received on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & NE 15th Ave., Boynton Beach. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Sept, 2, 2016 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Big Dog Ranch Rescue, 10948 Acme Rd, Wellington, FL 33414; or Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
