Terry "Wendell" Robertson, 70, of Port Orange, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018, after a long fought illness. He was born in Dickson, TN and was the son of Willie and Thelma Robertson.
Wendell was a resident of Port Orange for 60 years. He loved his family and vacationing in the mountains. He was employed years ago at Steak & Shake where he met the love of his life, Vi, who were married for 52 years. He also was employed by Eckerd Drugs, Wards Pharmacy, and Champion Rentals. He was a lifelong Seminole fan.
Wendell is survived by his wife Violet (Vi), son Terry Jr. (Michelle), grandchildren Troy and Savannah, two sisters Delores (Dee) (Darrell) Steele, and Wanda (Charles) Swingle, three brothers Larry (Gloria), George (Linda) and Marvin. He was preceded in death by his son, Tony.
The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church of Harbor Oaks, 5730 S. Ridgewood Ave, Port Orange, FL. Friday from 12:30 until service time at 1PM. Burial will follow at Daytona Memorial Park.
