Funeral services for Jose Manuel Zamora, 89, of Richmond will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at 12 noon at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, with a graveside service following at 2:30 p.m. at Grand View Memorial Park in Pasadena. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at Caballero-Ryder Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Caballero-Ryder Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
He was born on September 18, 1929 in Mercedes, TX. To Felix and Leonarda Zamora and he passed away on October 6, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Manuel was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and he will be deeply missed by all who loved him. Manuel will definitely live in our hearts forever!
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Janie Zamora and parents, Felix and Leonarda Zamora.
Manuel is survived by his children, Mary Santana, Vivian Z. Garcia, Robert Zamora and wife Triny, Johnny Zamora, Manuel Zamora Jr. and wife Geri, Roland Zamora, Michael Zamora and wife Paula, Richard Zamora and fiancée Monica Arroyo, Ruben Zamora and wife Estella, 24 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren and 1 great great great grandchild. He also leaves behind numerous family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Emanuel Zamora, Zachary Zamora, Mike Garcia, Jonathan Zamora, Albert Garcia, James Santana, Joey Zamora, Frank Santana, Erik Zamora and Matthew Zamora.
