Lola, 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. She was born to James Henry and Sarah Florence (Jones) Hardin.

Lola was the last surviving charter member of Capitol City Baptist Church, and she was very active in the church. She had a great sense of humor and loved to garden, quilt by hand, and sing, especially Southern Gospel. When time allowed, Lola and her husband enjoyed traveling.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, B.W. Wright; her son, Michael Wright; and eleven siblings.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Scott (Carol) Wright; her daughter, Sheila (Fred) Ballou; her grand children, Benjamin (Karen), Aimee (Kurt), Timothy (Bobbie), Brian (Nichole), Kimberly; her eleven great-grand children; her sister, Lavernia and her twin sister, Lida.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Capitol City Baptist Church, Holt. Interment will follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens in Lansing.

Memorial contributions may be made to Capitol City Baptist Church or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
