Patsy Ann Dickson, age 83, of Guttenberg, IA, died Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Stonehill Care Center in Dubuque, IA, surrounded by her family.
She was born on July 23, 1935, the daughter of William and Geneva Reinhardt. Patsy grew up in the Marquette area where she received her education.
On August 25, 1956, Patsy was united in marriage with Paul Dale “PD” Dickson at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Guttenberg. Together they were blessed with a daughter Zoe.
Patsy opened her home to care for many children in Guttenberg over the years.
Patsy will be forever remembered for her great cooking, especially her chocolate chip cookies and her joy of playing dice and cards with her “kids”.
Patsy will be forever loved and cherished by her husband of 62 years, PD; daughter, Zoe (Danny) Walke; 3 granddaughters, Liza (Scott Pollitt) Walke-Pollitt, Lora (Brett) Baclich, & Leanne Walke; 6 great grandchildren, Macy, Maggie, Wesley, Will, Ben & Quinn; 1 brother, Don (Erica) Reinhardt and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 sisters, Aileen, Helen, June, Marge and 1 brother Bill
