Services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with the Rev. Nick Sandefur officiating.
Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
A native of Christian County she was born Oct. 19, 1952, the daughter of Juanita A. Mayes, Hopkinsville and the late William A. Mayes.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother.
Karen was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. She participated in Camp MARC for the mentally and physically handicapped and attended the camp for 52 straight years.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her sister-in-law, Becky Mayes, Hopkinsville; her nephew, Chris Mayes, Lancaster; her niece, Angie Leek, Hopkinsville; and her aunt, Wilda Mathis, Hopkinsville.
