Michael Joseph, known as MoMonay to his friends, was born November 10, 1994 in Kansas City Kansas, and he was a life-long resident of Wyandotte County. Never letting his Muscular Dystrophy Diagnosis stop him, he enjoyed staying active doing the things he loved to do, like traveling with his family, attending concerts, meeting celebrities, and checking things off of his ever increasing ‘Bucket List’; the last one being ‘Attend a Donald Trump Rally’, which he did in Springfield, Missouri, just 8 days before his passing. A real foodie, Michael Joseph enjoyed food and trying new dishes. He loved all kinds of automobiles and he knew everything there was to know about most of them, often displaying his ability to tell the year and make of any car just by looking at it. He also loved playing video games, and had an extensive online profile in games such as Madden Football, and Y2K Basketball. He mostly loved rappers like Tech 9 and MG Kelly, but he was also a big fan of Taylor Swift, and attending her show on September 8th of this year was one of the high points in his life. Michael Joseph enjoyed watching WWE Wrestling, as well as watching basketball; he was a fan of any team that LeBron James played for. Along with enjoying all of his extra-curricular activities, Michael Joseph maintained Straight A’s throughout his school career, and decided to graduate early from high school by taking both his Junior year classes and his Senior year classes simultaneously. He was a member of Blue Valley Baptist Church, and had strong faith in Our Lord as his Healer. This knowledge enabled Michael Joseph to cherish each day and live his life vivaciously, which he continued to do until the very end.
Survivors include his father, Michael A. Aguilar; his mother, Angela Aguilar; his brothers, Anthony Atkins, Joshua Sholes, and Cruz-Michael Cooper; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
