Kevin Lee Spears, 56 of Michigan City, Indiana passed away at his home on October 1, 2018.

He was born on May 3, 1962 in South Haven, Michigan to Marilyn Sue and Henry Harold Spears.

His interest included cars, motorcycles and snowmobiles.

He is survived by his two daughters: Ashley Michelle Spears of Louisville, KY; Sydnee Nicole Spears of LaPorte, IN; four grandchildren, Camdon Renfrow; Jazlynn Abell; Brailyn Michael Spears and Leo John Lemberis. Mother Marilyn Sue Spears of Portage, IN and father; Henry Harold (Linda) Spears of South Haven, MI; brother Michael (Monda) Spears of Portage, IN; two nephews Todd Spears of LaPorte and Ty Grattenthaler of Tucson, AZ.

He is preceded in death by his brother Christopher S. Grattenthaler 7-4-11.

Memorial service will be held at Root Funeral Home, 312 E 7th St, Michigan City, IN 46360 on Saturday October 6, 2018 at 10am. He will be put to rest at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. A time of remembrance will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the Root Funeral Home.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
