Donna Kay (Bell) Payne-Stimmel, 86 of Parkman, Ohio, and Alger, Ohio, passed away Wednesday October 3, 2018 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio. She was born May 16, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Glenn and Violet (Eldridge) Bell.

After she graduated from high school she received a bachelor's degree from Kent State University. Donna was a special Education Teacher for Mentor School District for 35 years. She went on to marry her first husband, Ralph Payne whom she was married to for 54 years until his death in 2008. In collage she enjoyed playing baseball and Field hockey. She assisted the school with making their costumes for plays with her sewing skills. Donna was a member and devoted Christian with Huntsburg Baptist Church.

She will be sadly missed by her 2nd husband, Ken Stimmel of Alger, OH, her loving children, Steve (Carolyn) Payne of Broken Arrow, OK, Susan (Ted) Wojtasik of Parkman, OH, Dave (Kathy) Payne of N. Olmstead, OH, Bev (Dave) Campbell of Alger, OH, Tom (Brenda) Stimmel of Cypress, TX, a son-in-law, Ed Plomske of Cleveland, OH. She has 13 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, and 1 step-great great grandchild.

Besides his parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband Ralph, daughter, Holly A. Plomske, brothers, Bill Bell and Jackie Bell.

Calling hours will be held Monday, October 8, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Russell-Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High St, Middlefield, OH. 44062. A Celebration of her life will be held at the Funeral Home Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 11:00AM with Pastor Paul Radobenko officiating.
