Dean Riley, 64 of Logansport, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018 in his residence.

Born on August 24, 1954 in Rush County, Indiana, he was the son of the late Bernie Alvin and Betty Jean (Harman) Riley. On May 14, 2016 in Logansport, he married Bonnie L. Bell who survives.

Dean was a member of the NRA and LifeGate Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and NASCAR especially Chase Elliott. Dean always kept everyone positive and always said “can’t we all just get along”.

Surviving along with his wife Bonnie, is a son, Israel Riley, Logansport ; six daughters, Amy (David) Hayden; Kara Riley, both of Logansport; Alisha (Charles) Perkins, Lafayette; Kimberly (CJ) Krause, Logansport; Cindy (Chris) Shefts, Mokena, IL; Dawn (Ron) Bentle, Star City; twenty grandchildren, several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in the LifeGate Church in Logansport with Pastor Andy Weil officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until the time of service on Tuesday.

Memorials may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
