Born November 7, 1935 in Youngstown; she was the daughter of Raymond and Evelyn LaRue.
Carol was a 1953 graduate of Austintown-Fitch High School; she went on to graduate from Ohio State University School of Nursing in 1958. She most recently worked as a home health care nurse up until her retirement. She was a member of Old North Church, where she was involved in a quilting club. Because of her giving nature, she knitted hats which she donated to the rescue mission right up until her time of death. She enjoyed various artistic activities over the years, where she even exhibited some at the Canfield Fair and won various ribbons.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Harold E. McCormick; two children: Craig A. (Cynthia) and Karen L. (Robert W.) Hundley; three grandchildren: Madeline H. (Cody) Pillow, Lisa A. McCormick, and Meghan W. Hundley.
Services will be held at the Green Haven Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3945 S. Canfield-Niles Rd., Canfield,
