Of Farmington passed away October 5, 2018 at Presbyterian Manor in Farmington. She was born December 4, 1932 in Bonne Terre. LaVerne was a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington. She enjoyed spending her time crocheting, gardening, cooking and baking pies and cakes. She also volunteered at the Farmington Senior Center, delivering meals on wheels. Her family was the love of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Florence (Thurman) Snyder; husband, William Harris, Sr.; son, Gary Klemp; granddaughter, Rose Klemp; two sisters, Hilda O’Sullivan and Jean Momot.
LaVerne is survived by two daughters, Lisa Denton and husband Karl and Lori Cook and husband Kenny; seven grandchildren, Jessica Dietrich, Briana Saunders, Jerad Denton, Cole Denton, Travis Cook, Jordan Cook and Shannon Ragsdale; ten great-grandchildren, Evie and Ruby Dietrich, Jude, Finn and Beck Saunders, Nolan and Colin Cook, Cole, Charlie and Cleo Ragsdale; three brothers, Rev. Willard “Bud” Snyder and wife Mary, Charles Snyder and wife Linda, Rev. Don Snyder and wife Kay; one sister, JoAnn McDowell. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
