Death of Mrs. W. C. Drake.
Mrs. W.C. Drake died this morning at 4 o'clock, at her home on South Orchard street of consumption. She was 42 years of age. She leaves a husband and five children and five brothers and sisters to mourn her loss.
Her son Homer Drake arrived this morning from Paris, Texas, on the 8:13 Frisco train too late to see his mother alive. He travels in Texas for a Chicago firm and has been very ill in a hospital there which prevented his coming sooner.
The funeral will be held tomorrow after-noon at 3 o'clock, at the residence and friends of the family are invited.
