Revered teacher, world traveler, arts and community patron.Services for Daisy Mildred Morris, 103, of Longview and Washington, D.C., will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2007, at First Presbyterian Church, with Johnathan Jehorek officiating. Mrs. Morris died May 2, 2007, at her residence.

Born in the Indian Territory of now present-day Oklahoma, she was a board member of Longview Symphony Guild, Gregg County Historical Museum and First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her son, Dr. Curtis Morris Jr.
