Jeff attended Crown Point High School. He recently celebrated 20 years of employment with Republic Services in Chesterton.
Jeff was one of the founding members of Lake Effect Toastmasters Club in Hobart. He attended Bethel Church of Hobart/Portage. Jeff was very active in the Hobart community and he coached several youth sports. He loved to camp, play guitar, watch football and most importantly, he loved all of his children.
He was preceded in death by his father-Dwain Winstead, Sr.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife-Lisa; beloved son-Ian Winstead, who he raised in Chesterton; mother-Sharon Winstead; brother-Dwain Winstead; step-children-Alana, Angelina, Gabriella, Eddie and Mitch; granddaughters-Elycia and Naveen;
