Joseph Patrick Conway, age 90, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018.

Beloved husband for 60 years to Elizabeth A. (nee Alborn); loving father of Cheryl Railey (Malcolm), Michael Conway (Mary), and Lynn Conway; and devoted grandfather of Kristen Railey, Stuart Railey, Owen Railey, and Olivia Conway. Son of the late Joseph and Julia Conway; dearest brother of Marie McMahon (deceased) (Jack – deceased), Anne Marie Owens (George – deceased), Katherine Koch (deceased) (Arthur – deceased), Sr. Patricia Conway, Robert Conway (deceased), Agnes Ussai (deceased) (Jordan – deceased), John Conway (Margaret), and Jane Volz (Dave). Uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

He graduated from St. Ignatius High School and played on the football team that won the West Senate Champions Charity Football game his senior year, 1945. US Army, Corporal, Korean War. Proud alumni of the University of Illinois.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Angela Catholic Church, Fairview Park, at 11:30 am, Tuesday, October 2, 2018.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice or the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
