Hazel Roddy Hicks, age 74, of Douglasville, GA, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica, GA.

Hazel was born on April 6, 1944, in Spring City, TN, to parents, the late, Mr. Burton Roddy and Mrs. Irene Cunningham. She worked as a secretary at Tennessee Valley Authority for many years and was a loving mother and grandmother. Hazel loved spending time with her family and will be missed by all who knew her.

Hazel is survived by her beloved husband, Clyde Eugene Hicks; daughter, Dvon Hicks Cobb; brothers, Fred and Ralph Roddy, extended relatives and friends also survive.

In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her siblings, Helen Chattin, Bryan Roddy and Howard Roddy.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2018, at 4:00 PM, in the Chapel of the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home. Per Hazel’s request, she will be cremated directly after the service.
