Nathan was educated in the public-school system of Richland County. At an early age Nathan became a member of Antioch AME Church. For many years, Nathan was employed by Dick Smith Auto. He was a man of many talents, for years he did construction work until having to retire due to illness. Nathan was a member of New Direction Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and six brothers: Andrew, Robert, Bobby Moye, Jimmie, Johnny, and Alfred Wilson Jr.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his wife, Tonya J. A. Wilson; three sisters, Louise (Alonzo) Thompson of Eastover, Rosalind Reaves of Eastover, and Vivian Epps of Hopkins; two brothers, George (Doretha) Wilson and Willie (Ruby) Moye of Eastover; two sisters-in-law Maye Francis Moye of Eastover and Margaret Wilson of West Columbia; four children, Orlando Perry of Maryland, Lachelle (Brian) Watts of Columbia, Lavoia (Donson) Daniels of Hopkins, Levar Wilson of Gadson; seven grandchildren, four stepchildren: Laketia, John, April, and Jonathan Abercrombie, eight step grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
