Henry Javon Stewart, 86, of Barling, died Saturday, September 29, 2018 in Barling. He was retired from Whirlpool Inc., an Army veteran, and a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Smith. He was born May 7, 1932 in Mulberry, Arkansas to Vader and Edna Peters Stewart. He was preceded in death by his brother, Melvin Glenn Stewart.
Henry is survived by four sons, Danny Stewart of Mulberry, Randy Stewart of San Francisco, California, Richard Stewart of Ozark, and Jeremy Stewart of Mulberry; a sister, Theola Standridge of Tulsa, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held 2PM, Saturday, October 6, 2018 with Brother Randy Boren officiating at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
