Shirley Annette Wofford Hogan, age 80 of Adairsville, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in Pruitt Health Care of La Fayette.

Shirley was born on November 11, 1937 in Floyd County to the late Harrison Wofford and Gertrude Barnett Wofford. In addition to her parents, Shirley was also preceded in death by: her husband, Wyndell Lee Hogan; son, Ricky Hogan; three brothers, J.M. Wofford, Jerry Wofford, and Travis Wofford; and sister, Joan Gilbert. Shirley was a member of Plainview Baptist Church and lived in the Plainville Community over 50 years.

Shirley is survived by: two sisters, Glenda Timms and Joyce Broyles; two grandchildren, Christy Jones of Pigeon Forge, TN and Jason Hogan of Calhoun; and four great-grandchildren, Karlie Dean of Athens, GA Tori Dean of Calhoun, Elana Dean of Calhoun, and Alanna Hogan of Calhoun.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, October 5th at 4 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Hogan and Reverend Gary Hibberts officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery with Dale Hogan in charge of graveside rites.

Pallbearers serving include: Jeff Gilbert, Brian Gilbert, Jay Wofford, Chris Broyles, Johnathan Timms, Jason Hogan, and Rusty Hogan.
