MUNCIE – Susan L. Davis-Carter left this world on October 1, 2018.
She was born on February 17, 1974 in Jacksonville, North Carolina, the daughter of William Ray and Melanie R. (Jones) Davis. Susan lived most of her life in Muncie and she attended Muncie Schools.
She was a very loving person, a great mother and loved her family.
Susan leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons, Ivan and Anthony (AJ) Davis; one daughter Jasmine Davis; her parents, Billy and Melanie Davis; one sister, Melissa (husband Robert) Hollars; two brothers, B. Joseph Davis (wife Kerri) and David Shaffer (wife Melissa); and two grandchildren, Kayden and Ruby. She also leaves uncles, aunts and several nieces and nephews.
Susan was preceded in death by her son, Dwayne Davis and her husband, Michael Carter.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 8, 2018 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel with Pastor Shannon Poindexter officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery- Parker City.
