She was born May 26, 1935 in Carroll County, Maryland, the daughter of the late Monroe C. Wantz and the late Naomi M. Wantz (nee Rodkey).
She was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling and her grandchildren.
She was the wife of George W. Warfield.
She was the mother of Sharon VanSant, Rodney and Richard Valentine; sister of Betty J. Heltibridle and husband Dan, and the late Donald E. and Robert J. Wantz; also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and stepdaughters Julie Ann Bouley and Vickie Cheek.
