Jimmy Ray Potter 74, of Mannsville, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at his home in Mannsville. He was born on June 30, 1944 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to the late William Otto Potter and Margie Mamie Clark Potter. Jimmy was raised in Russett, Oklahoma and later graduated from Mannsville High School. Jimmy married Dorothy Green on September 22, 1962 in Russett. He worked installing fire prevention sprinklers for 15 years and retired because of his health. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mannsville and he enjoyed rebuilding old cars and trucks, hunting, fishing, anything outdoors. Jimmy also enjoyed spending time with his family and building go carts and dune buggies for his grandkids.

He is survived by:

Wife: Dorothy Potter, Mannsville, Oklahoma

Children: Kevin Potter and wife Amy, Ardmore, Oklahoma

Brad Potter and wife Stacy, Mannsville, Oklahoma

Grandchildren: Dillon Potter, Collin Potter, Caden Potter, Shanna McKown, Rocky McKown.

Great Grandchild: Cole Potter and Graham McKown

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Maxine Parker, Ruby Bagby, Eunice Potter and 2 brothers; Tory and Marcin Potter.
