She was born in Mabscott, WV; was the daughter of the late William "Buster" Smith and Anna Mae Richmond Smith Stover and was the step daughter of the late Jesse Stover. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Smith and a granddaughter, Sabrina Dalton.
She was the wife of Roger Dalton, Sr. who she was married to for 54 years , of the home.
