Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. tonight at Hughart, Beard and Giles Funeral Home.
Burial will be private.
A native of Christian County, he was born May 23, 1940, the son of the late Benjamin Duncan McGhee and Elizabeth Morris McGhee. He was a farmer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette McGhee; and one brother.
Survivors include his daughter, Cindy (Mark) Wagner, Herndon; his brother, Joe McGhee, Tucson, Ariz.; his sister, Gail (Bill) Bowman, Georgetown, Texas; one grandson and two great-grandsons.
