Michael grew up in Center Barnstead. He graduated from Pittsfield Middle High School in Pittsfield, NH in 1982. After high school, he served in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Puget Sound where he achieved a rate of Machinery Repairman, Second Class.

Michael had many jobs throughout is life. He spent most of his years working as a machinist for a variety of companies. However, his most recent and perhaps his favorite job was as an Associate Professor of Advanced Manufacturing at Lakes Region Community College in Laconia, NH.

Michael was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed playing guitar, kayaking, and Sunday brunch with his family whenever possible.

Michael is survived by his spouse Jennifer Labrecque, his four children, as well as his 10 siblings, grandchild, and Toby, his ancient dog.
