"Elbert O Clark Died Thursday In New Jersey - Body of Former Local Man To Be Brought Here Sunday for Interment - Elbert O Clark, 70, died at 9 am Thursday, in Bayonne, NJ, following serious illness of three weeks. The body will be brought to Titusville, arriving Sunday at 9 am, and will be taken to the Paul B Kerr funeral home, where services will be held at 2:30 pm, with Rev A O Caldwell, DD, of the Presbyterian church, officiating, and interment will be in Woodlawn cemetery. The deceased was [a] son of the late D P and Maria Tubbs Clark and was born near Enterprise, October 29, 1869. He was married to Lydia Kerr on September 9, 1897, and she died on March 16, 1912. To them were born five children, Dr Joseph K Clark of Bayonne, NJ, Elbert D Clark and Mrs J H Armstrong of Radburn, NJ, Mrs W S McCann of Winnetka, Ill, and Fred B Clark at home. In 1922, Mr Clark was married to Dora Wilkins, who survives with three brothers, Frank Clark of Cleveland, W O Clark of Titusville and Herbert A Clark of Breckenridge, Tex. Mr Clark was a member of the Presbyterian church and of Queen City lodge, IOOF, of Titusville. He left Titusville in 1901, and was with the Standard Oil Co of New Jersey for over thirty years, having been retired about six years ago. He will be remembered by many in Titusville and vicinity."
