CW was a store manager for 30 plus years with A&P and Grand Union grocery stores and was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Mechanicsville, Maryland. He also loved traveling to every state in the United States in his motor home.
He was the son of Ines Hoyle and Nellie West Hoyle. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife, Grace Bowling Hoyle; his son, Charles William "Billy Hoyle; his brothers, Eliam Hoyle and Ernest "Buddy" Hoyle; and his sister, Ruby Hoyle Joyce.
He is survived by his sister, Jessie E. Hoyle Golden; his grandchildren, Matthew Hoyle and Casey Hoyle; and his grandchild, Lillian Hoyle.
