Yolanda V. Jones, 84, of Peoria, formerly of Chicago, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.
Born Sept. 18, 1919, in Chicago to Joseph and Elizabeth Beregmege Kaszas, she married Walter Jones on March 5, 1977, in Chicago. He survives.
Surviving family: two daughters, Christine (and Bill) Mangold and Yolanda (and Jim) Gnatek; two stepdaughters, Maria (and Ken) Binder, and Cynthia Jones; one brother, Joe (and Ruth) Kaszas of Wheaton; and one sister, Irene Studer of Morton.
She worked for Seeburg Juke Box Co., was a manger at Victer Comptometer Corp. and was a credit investigator for Northern Trust Bank, all in Chicago.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Chicago.
