Services for Arthur E. Kendall, 934 West 194th Street, Chicago Heights, will be tomorrow. He died Friday on St. James Hospital, Chicago Heights. The Rev. Robert Vaughn, pastor, will conduct the 1:30p.m. rites at First United Methodist Church in Chicago Heights. Burial will be in Homewood Memory Gardens cemetery. Visitation hours will be today from 2-9 p.m.at West end Funeral Home, Chicago Heights. Mr. Kendall, a lifelong area resident, was born December 23, 1898 in Crete. He was a retired supervisor for Kimball Glass Company, division of Owens Glass Company, and a former employee of Ace Hardware. A member of First United Methodist Church 63 years, he had been custodian since 1962. Surviving are his wife, Gladys; one daughter, Leatrice Brassea; one sister, Marian Muirhead; 10 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church.
