Pamela Gay Smith Reeves, age 59 of Heltonville, passed away Monday afternoon August 27, 2018 at the Indiana University Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Bedford on January 9, 1959 to Fred Smith and Olive Mae Eads Smith.

Pam worked over 30 years with Indiana University and was a member of the Old Chapel Hill Church. Pam was very proud to help out charities such as the United Way, and the Humane Society and ultimately gave of her self as a cornea donor after her death.

She leaves behind her family members husband Joe Reeves of Heltonville, sister Sherry Salyers and her husband Roger of Blomington, mother Olive Mae Eads Smith of Bloomington, and half brother Robin Martin and half sister Shelly King both of Heltonville. Pam’s father in law Stanley Reeves and his wife June of Bloomington also survive as well as nephews Austin Hill, David Gaither, and Eric Reeves, nieces Jennifer Harmon, Courtney Waters, Christy Shields , and Jodie Reeves and a cousin Bobby Murphy. Pam was predeceased her father, grandparents Clifford and Otha Eads and mother in law Rosemary Drescher.

Funeral services for Pam will be conducted Friday August 31, 2018 at 3:00PM at Allen Funeral Home and Crematory 4155 South Old State Road 37. Burial will follow in the Clear Creek Cemetery.
