Obituary for Glenn E. Hamilton
Glenn E. Hamilton, 86, of Bloomfield passed away Wednesday September 26, 2018 at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.

Born January 26, 1932 in Bloomfield the son of Ermon and Dovie (Blaker) Hamilton.

Glenn was the owner and operator of Hamilton TV and Appliances, he was a member of the Bloomfield Masonic Lodge # 84, Allen Chapel Church and was on the Richland Township Board for over 30 years.

Surviving relatives include his wife Lydia Hamilton of Bloomfield, two sons, Bill (Jennifer) Hamilton and Jim (Terri) Hamilton all of Bloomfield, one daughter Brenda (Nick) Keller of Bloomington, seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Glenn was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Hamilton, two sisters, Nina Hamilton, Vera Beaty and his parents.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. on Saturday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield and 1P.M. Sunday until the hour of service at the Jenkins Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Rose Sparks and Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield.

The family wishes any donations be made to the American Heart Association in Glenn’s name.
