John Howard Tuttle, 77, of Lenoir passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at his residence following a period of declining health.
John was born January 9, 1941 in Caldwell County, NC to the late William Howard Tuttle and Mildred Smiley Tuttle.
He worked as a supervisor at the NC Department of Transportation and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Morganton.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert William Tuttle and Charles Randall Tuttle; daughter, Sheila Tuttle Brown; and sons, John Howard Tuttle, and James Tuttle.
A funeral service will be held 11:00AM Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church in Morganton, NC with the Rev. J.R. Robbins officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
