Died: Sunday, September 30, 2018

Mary Christine Siders, 68 of St. Ignace passed away Sunday morning, September 30 at Castle Rock Retirement Center following a lingering illness. She was born on Mackinac Island on December 16, 1949 to Charles Cadreau and Ruby Perault Andress. She lived and worked on the Island many years and moved to St. Ignace about 25 years ago. She had worked for Cindys Ridng Stable, and several restaurants including Clydes, The Truck Stop and the Kewadin Casino. Her soulmate, Cal Dennis died August 7, 2018 at the same facility.

She is survived by one brother, Carl and Cora Andress, Hessel; neice and nephew, Leslye Atkins, Barbeau and Carol Ruddle, Mackinac Island. There also are many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shannon Marie Siders in July, 1989 who was murdered near Newago, Michigan; siblings, Francis"Pat"Andress; Joe Andress; Barbara Chambers; Leslie "Butch" Andress; and Donald "Duck" Andress.
At her wishes cremation has taken place, her ashes will be intered on Mackinac Island on October 27 at Ste Annes Cemetery with Native American Traditional services with a Gathering to follow at the community Center. She is an Elder of the Sault Tribe Chippewa Indians.
Dodson Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
