Tatsch, Marvin W., 85, of San Antonio, died Friday, May 9, 2008.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, May 13, at 2 p.m. at Triumphant Lutheran Church in Garden Ridge with the Rev. William Jon Irons officiating.

Tatsch was born in Fredericksburg on Dec. 24, 1922, the son of Rheinhold Tatsch and Elsa Usener Tatsch.

He worked for Pape Construction in San Antonio for about 52 years. He is survived by three daughters and two sons and spouses, including Judy and Joel McMillian, Wayne and Yvonne Tatsch and Shelly and Tom Donely, all of San Antonio; Rodney and Ann Tatsch of Helotes, and Rhonda and Frank Miles of Georgia. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold Tatsch, and a sister, Londa Wunderlich, both of Fredericksburg. Memorials may be made to Vista Care Hospice, 4242 Woodcock Dr., Suite 101, San Antonio, TX 78228. Arrangements were under the direction of Meadow Lawn Funeral Home.
