BRUSSARD, Norman Augustus 'Norm' — 78, Dartmouth, passed away suddenly on March 23, 2012. Born in Pomquet, Antigonish Co., he was a son the late Clarence and Cathe­rine (Melanson) Brussard. Norm graduated from St. Francis Xavier University in 1954. He then was em­ployed as an indus­trial engineering salesman his working life. He had his own busi­ness, Astro Equip­ment Sales and most recently with Atlantic Purifica­tion Systems until his retirement. He enjoyed gardening, working with wood, mathematics and loved sports 'a big Maple Leafs fan', especially a Sidney Crosby fan. Sur­viving are his wife of 52 years, Dolores Jacqueline 'Jackie' (Clarke); sons, Norm (Tanya), Moncton, N.B.; Terry and Paul, Dartmouth; grand­children, Chelsey and Caleigh, Monc­ton; brothers, Raymond, Albert and sister, Theresa Benteau; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother, Alfred in infancy. Private family fu­neral service will be held Thursday, March 29 at 11 a.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. Buri­al in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
