BRUSSARD, Norman Augustus 'Norm' — 78, Dartmouth, passed away suddenly on March 23, 2012. Born in Pomquet, Antigonish Co., he was a son the late Clarence and Catherine (Melanson) Brussard. Norm graduated from St. Francis Xavier University in 1954. He then was employed as an industrial engineering salesman his working life. He had his own business, Astro Equipment Sales and most recently with Atlantic Purification Systems until his retirement. He enjoyed gardening, working with wood, mathematics and loved sports 'a big Maple Leafs fan', especially a Sidney Crosby fan. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Dolores Jacqueline 'Jackie' (Clarke); sons, Norm (Tanya), Moncton, N.B.; Terry and Paul, Dartmouth; grandchildren, Chelsey and Caleigh, Moncton; brothers, Raymond, Albert and sister, Theresa Benteau; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother, Alfred in infancy. Private family funeral service will be held Thursday, March 29 at 11 a.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. Burial in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
