Kristin D. Smith, 35, of Lucasville, died 2:50 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2017 at her residence unexpectedly.
She was born October 20, 1981 in Ross County to Roger and Sheila Flannery McPherson. On December 21, 2006, she married Jeremy L. Smith who survives.
In addition to her mother, surviving are children, Cameron Ray Clark, Elisha Raymond Smith and Jaxson Troy Smith; a special dear and loving friend, Roberta Rice, of Lucasville; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jeffrey and Angie Smith; a brother, Nick McPherson, of Lancaster and sister, Michele (Leonard) Smith, of Columbus; aunts, Vicki Graham, of Columbus and Debbie (Larry) Johnson, of Chillicothe; an uncle, Randy Flannery, of Chillicothe; special uncles, Tony Markel and Dave Cottrill, both of Chillicothe; nieces and nephews, Rylee Webb, Abby McPherson, Mary Katherine Green, James Smith, Ethan and Evan McPherson, Joseph, Shane and Ben Southwick, Saige Slone, Liam Slone, Jeffrey Slone, Eden Smith and Ezra Smith; brothers-in-law, Jacob (Allison) Smith and Austin, Gregory and CJ Rager; a sister-in-law, Leah (Seth) Slone; many special friends of Freedom Hall in Wakefield; and many friends, including Marjorie "Mamaw" Rice, of Lucasville and Harry Bower, whom she called her "Special Dad".

Kristin was a stay at home mom and a member of New Beginnings Outreach Ministries, Beaver, Ohio and Prodigal House Ministries, Lucasville, Ohio
A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2017 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Sara Bender officiating. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service on Monday. An additional celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Big Bear Creek Lake, 9906 Big Bear Creek Road Lucasville, OH 45648, with Pastor Barry Pelphrey officiating.
