Prior to retirement Bruce worked 30 years at Mack Pro in Moberly as a welder.
Survivors include his sister, Janice “Janie” Wells and husband Stanley of Blue Springs, MO, a nephew Scott James Matthews and his wife Dana of Lake Lotawana, MO his significant other Laura McLemore of Moberly, several cousins, other relatives and friends.
Bruce was an avid baseball fan, as a young man he really enjoyed playing baseball in Moberly. He enjoyed bowling and was very good at it. Bruce also enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an excellent marksman.
Words of comfort and support may be shared with the family, which will be, Saturday, October 6, 2018 1:00p.m. to 3:00p.m. at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Services honoring and celebrating Bruce’s life will follow at 3:00p.m. Committal prayers and burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
