He married Merna Robertson on May 18, 1969 in Waverly, NE. He worked as a mechanical engineer. Leonard enjoyed watching historical documentaries and taking things apart to learn how they worked.
He is survived by his Wife: Merna Phillips; Children: Christie Walbridge, Rick Phillips, Cindy Marshalek, Debbie Phillips, Lori (Jason) Hunter; Sisters: Priscilla (Joe) Phipps, Patty (Richard) Brown; 12 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.
