Irene S. Frost, age 87 of Pulaski, went home to Jesus, her Lord and Savior on October 1, 2018 at the The University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia, following a fall the previous week. She was born on May 24, 1931 and lived in Pulaski, Virginia most of her life. She was a nurse and later the assistant treasurer of Pulaski County. She enjoyed water skiing, sewing, quilting, and entertaining. She was blessed with far too many dear friends to name and is celebrating with some of them today. She was also blessed with a 67 year marriage and is survived by her husband, Stanley Frost; Son, Alan Frost, and wife Vickie; Granddaughters Abbey and Lily Frost. A number of nieces and nephews. She loved all of them dearly. The funeral will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Pulaski where she was a member for over 67 years. Reverend Becky Wheeler will officiate. Visitation will immediately precede the service from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff of the 6th floor at UVA Medical Center who treated her with grace and dignity. Memorial contributions can be submitted to Aldersgate United Methodist Church and flowers are appreciated equally.
