Frank introduced the game of basketball to CT. in 1895 after he saw the game played in Johnsbury, VT. Frank was with the YMCA in Middletown, CT. He bought balls and the basket and set it up at the YMCA at the running track there and organized a team.
He married May L. Barnum in 1892. She was the daughter of George Williams Barnum and Harriet Elvira Seymour Barnum.
They are the parents of Raymond, Gladys, Langdon, Marjorie and Carleton (my father).
