PORTLAND - Kimberley Ann Stewart, 46, of Portland, passed away at Maine Medical Center on Dec. 28, 2014.
Kimberley was born in Portland to James and Sharon (Moulton) Stewart on Jan. 30, 1968.
Kimberley graduated from Deering High School and later graduated from Andover College with two associates degrees. She worked for the past eight years at Maine Medical Center as a switchboard operator.
Kimberley was an avid reader and movie lover. Her warm spirit and constant smile made her already personable demeanor that much more inviting. She was an amazing listener whose levels of sympathy and empathy knew no bounds. All of this made her an amazing friend, and once she was your friend, she was your friend for life, no matter how much time had passed since she had seen you last.
Kimberley is survived by her daughter Emerald Stewart of Portland; her parents James and Sharon Stewart of Portland; her brother James "Bubba" Stewart Jr. of Westbrook and his significant other Christina Merrill of Gorham; her niece Madison Stewart of Gorham; her significant other Peter Cox of New Gloucester; and his parents Joyce Cox and Carl Nida of New Gloucester; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Family and friends are invited to an hour of visitation from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home, 660 Brighton Ave., Portland, with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. To share memories and condolences with the family, please go to www.athutchins.com.
