DANA L. HAMMOND, 62, passed away Friday, Sept. 28, 2018 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of F. Darrell Hammond and Geneva Hammond. "Dana will be remembered as a loving mother who enjoyed caring for her family, friends, and her dog, Delanie." She is survived by her three children, Stephanie Frazier of Fort Wayne, Heath Gaham of Fort Wayne, and Nick (Hannah) Gaham of Churubusco, Ind.; seven grandchildren; her siblings, Vickie (Steve Ries) Hunt, Pam (Marty) Herr, and Junior (Brenda) Hammond, all of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Darren Hammond; grandmother, Virginia Hammond; and her niece, Alexandra Herr. Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at Fairhaven Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, at the funeral home. Burial at Highland Park Cemetery.
