Billy Coleman, 77, of McArthur, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born September 4, 1941 in Pike County, Kentucky, son of the late Herbert Nathaniel and Valey Mae Fields Coleman. Billy was married for 57 years to Stella Sue Hayes Coleman, who survives.

He owned and operated Waters Edge General Store and retired from Austin Powder Company. Billy was an Army Veteran and attended the Church of God, an International Community in Jackson.

Billy is survived by children, William “Bill” (Julie) Coleman of McArthur and John (Andrea) Coleman of Hamden; daughters, Karma (Mark) Todd of New Concord, Rhonda (Robin) Roberts of Chillicothe and Carla (Greg) Travers of McArthur; grandchildren, Matthew, Zack, Leslie, Lori, Valey, Logan, Katie Beth, Joshua, Andrew and Samuel; brother, Herbet Coleman of Florida and sisters, Patty Collins of Lancaster and Jeanette (Dean) Walters of Missouri.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Coleman and sister, Betty Hill.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Minister James Todd officiating. Burial will be in Keeton Cemetery, Vinton County, with military graveside services being conducted by the McArthur VFW Post #5299 and the United States Army. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 6-8 p.m.
