Muskegon - - - In loving memory of James Leroy Beckley, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, who at age 54, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011. He was born in Muskegon on August 1, 1956 to Henry and Marcella (VanBravel) Beckley.

James is survived by his father, Henry D. Beckley of Muskegon; brother, Richard (Yolanda) Beckley of Muskegon; sister, Janet Burkall of Muskegon; 2 nieces and 1 nephew. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marcella Beckley in 1999.

He had worked at Goodwill Industries of Muskegon and was a member of the Fruitport Eagles. James loved to play and organize horseshoes with VFW Post 3195 and to bowl. He made this world a better place with his smile and laughter. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 22, 2011 at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
