James is survived by his father, Henry D. Beckley of Muskegon; brother, Richard (Yolanda) Beckley of Muskegon; sister, Janet Burkall of Muskegon; 2 nieces and 1 nephew. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marcella Beckley in 1999.
He had worked at Goodwill Industries of Muskegon and was a member of the Fruitport Eagles. James loved to play and organize horseshoes with VFW Post 3195 and to bowl. He made this world a better place with his smile and laughter. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 22, 2011 at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
