Charlotte I. West, age 100, of Churchville, formerly of Main St., Wyoming, passed away Friday, May 27th, 2011 at the Episcopal Church Home in Rochester, NY. She was born in Warsaw, January 18th, 1911, the daughter of the late Floyd A. and Dora E. Hann Clapp. A lifetime resident of Wyoming County, Charlotte co-owned and operated the Wyoming Dinette with her husband, Reuben West. She enjoyed playing cards, puzzles, and travel in the early years of her life. Charlotte is predeceased by her loving husband, Reuben West who passed away in 1987. Survivors include 3 sons; Gary (Paula) West of Churchville, Duane (Connie) Clapp of Castile and Alvin (Jane) Clapp of San Antonio, Texas; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and a niece. Friends of Charlotte may call Friday, June 3rd from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at the Weeks Funeral Home, 123 N. Main Street, Warsaw. A funeral service will follow at 8pm with Rev. Christopher Wylie of the Wyoming United Methodist Church as celebrant. Burial will take place privately.
