Nancy was born in Iowa City on April 2, 1961, the daughter of Joseph and Nancy (Franks) Dolph. She graduated from Burlington High School and was the valedictorian when she graduated from Ashford University in 2006. She was employed at Rock Tenn and later at New Choices. Nancy married Tom Leslie on April 20, 2002, in Las Vegas. She was a member of the River Church. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren; she was the best grandma to her grandchildren. She was an adventurous soul and believed in living each day to the fullest. As she and Tom traveled through out the world; they enjoyed zip lining in Hawaii and even the jungle of Costa Rica. She bobsledded and rode camels in Jamaica, climbed to the top of the Statue of Liberty, explored caves in New Mexico, went whitewater rafting and jet skiing.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Tom; three children, Jessica (Levi) Laurion, Joshua Dolph and Kimberly (Adam Mueller) Wessels, all of Clinton; two step-children, Tamara (Reynaldo) Batista of Montgomery, Texas, and Wade (Destiny) Leslie of Marion, Iowa; 10 grandchildren, Joshua, Arrianna, Adam, Lily, Braxton, Sheridan, Trey, Max, Tinsley and Gannon; her mother, Nancy (Dale) Bott of Clinton; her sister, Deb (Randy) Westphal of Clinton; her brother, Joe (Letha) Dolph of Clinton; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; a grandson, Jackson Laurion; and a brother, Dave Dolph. Memorials may be made to the Jackson Rhys Laurion Foundation at Mercy Health Care.
