Lewis Earl Carlile, 84, a 30-year resident of Fraser, died Friday, May 11, 2007, in Henry Ford Bi-County Hospital, Warren. He was born April 23, 1923, in Gainesboro, Tenn.
Mr. Carlile retired in 1981 after 35 years of service with the Budd Co. He was a member of North Warren Church of Christ. He was an avid hunter who also enjoyed training beagles for hunting, and gardening.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1943-1945 during World War II in the European campaign. He completed the 10th grade in Gainesboro, Tenn.

He is survived by his wife, Hattie M. Carlile; children, Ronald, Rex (Sharleen), Belinda and Deborah (Tony); grandchildren, Tamara, Bradley, Shannon and Heather; and sisters, Norma Smith and Anna Scantland, both of Cookeville, Tenn.

A funeral service will be held at noon Monday at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, with the Rev. Joe Orvelo of North Warren Church of Christ officiating. Burial will take place in Christian Memorial Cultural Center, Rochester Hills.
