Gordon Lewis Reynolds, Jr. of Deadwood, Texas, was born March 25, 1970, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Gordon Lewis Reynolds, Sr. and Ramona Ann Bott Reynolds. He graduated from Archbishop Shaw High School in Marrero, Louisiana, in 1988, and attended LSU in Baton Rouge. Gordon served in the U.S. Army in Germany, Bosnia, and Croatia for 8 years and was honorably discharged. He enjoyed playing soccer in high school, was a LSU Tiger fan, and New Orleans Saints fan. Gordon moved to Deadwood in 2005 from New Orleans. He was a member of the St. William of Vercelli Catholic Church in Carthage and was also a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
