Ruby "Faye" Douglas, 79, of Devol, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018.
The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018, at Lunn's. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Lunn's Chapel with Pastor Jack Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.
A daughter of the late Ruby (Nall) and Aubrey Dee Shepard, Faye was born on July 13, 1939, in Paradise, Texas. She was a long time Board of Director of Southside Girls Club, a member of Women of Rotary and Women in Construction. She loved to do volunteer work at Wichita General Hospital.
Along with her parents, Faye was also preceded in death by her sisters Dorothy Willis and Sue Dennison.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Douglas; children, Jody Dodson and husband, Chad; Dena Payne and husband, Stacey; Felicia Miller and husband, Marty; eight grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
